After 35 played minutes Chihuahua StrikerS™ got a freekick which was hit by Alex Santiago. Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Marzagão from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Cassiano Castanheira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chihuahua StrikerS™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Cassiano Castanheira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Luís Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Lemos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano de Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassiano Castanheira was the one to do the kick off. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cassiano Castanheira sped through Marzagão's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Luís Fernandez. Alfredinho Quintal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Marzagão's zone, Romão Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Luís Fernandez came out of the goal and Romão Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Júlio Lemos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Mar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabiano de Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Júlio Lemos made a huge save. Pedro Luís Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Furtado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remo Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Júlio Lemos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play.
