With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davy Giacomoni in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Luís Fernandez saved Marzagão from getting behind. Alfredinho Quintal's late challenge caught a Formation Pure Lyonnaise's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredinho Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. 32 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Gaspard Letourneux broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Davy Giacomoni came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match, Davy Giacomoni tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pedro Luís Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Prado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nelson Cloarec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Neil Mar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Neil Mar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The Formation Pure Lyonnaise fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Davy Giacomoni looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 66 minutes into the match, Davy Giacomoni notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez. Pedro Luís Fernandez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Formation Pure Lyonnaise's zone, Neil Mar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal and Neil Mar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Luís Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Davy Giacomoni's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. In the 76th minute, Cleiton Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Davy Giacomoni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Pedro Luís Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
