An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Trindade in the 15th minute of play forced Chihuahua StrikerS™'s goalkeeper Júlio Lemos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Silvério Amaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Júlio Lemos was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Angélico Liberato hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Egídio Trindade left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Júlio Lemos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Trindade in the 61st minute of the match. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Paião in the 63rd minute of play. Romão Furtado scored 1-3 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Viriato Leal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sporting Clube Patrício's Claudemiro Gomes was substituted for Juliano Simões. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Gustavo Ferrão got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Júlio Lemos came out and tried to block the shot, but Egídio Trindade slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Egídio Trindade lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Júlio Lemos. In the 88th minute, Egídio Trindade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Gustavo Ferrão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Madeira's late challenge caught a Chihuahua StrikerS™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Madeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute of the match Pedro Aires sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Leal skillfully saved the ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
