Alfredo Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Micarelli having to interfere. Alberto Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Micarelli having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Esteves came free, but Federico Micarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Piola kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Marzagão's Pedro Luís Fernandez got control of the ball when Francesco Porcu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute Alfredo Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Micarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Marzagão made a substitution. Remo Borges replaced Válbson Fernandes. Marzagão's Serafim Reis was substituted for Alfredinho Quintal. After having played for 55 minutes, Francesco Porcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maci FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Porcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Marzagão's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Porcu came free, but Pedro Luís Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marzagão's Neil Mar got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Saraiva shot from long distance in the 67th minute, but Federico Micarelli was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. The long shot by Gilberto Saraiva in the 69th minute really tested Federico Micarelli's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alfredo Esteves succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-5 in the 77th playminute. 83 minutes into the game, Alberto Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When Bianco Fiorentino fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maci FC's protests and gave Bianco Fiorentino a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marzagão booed when Maci FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bianco Fiorentino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maci FC's goalkeeper Federico Micarelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Francesco Porcu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maci FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Porcu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Federico Micarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Prado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marzagão's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
