Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Nuno Santarém started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute Nuno Santarém shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didi Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético de Caracas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gabirel Caceo in the 6th minute. Didi Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Santarém in the 12th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lino Berger got free with Zarando Calva in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zarando Calva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luiz de Lima in the 20th minute of the match. Meia Ronda's Didi Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuno Santarém in the 22nd minute of play. Didi Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Santarém, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Luiz de Lima's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Zarando Calva skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Atlético de Caracas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Sixto Lluc hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Meia Ronda's Sílvio Luiz de Lima sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zarando Calva narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nuno Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Lima having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Zarando Calva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luiz de Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Nuno Santarém came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Atlético de Caracas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuno Santarém couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Rony Mattos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Meia Ronda made a substitution. Waldemar de Sena replaced Joel de Queiroz. A collision led to Meia Ronda getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rony Mattos hit a great ball. Didi Lima made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nuno Santarém in the 59th minute. Nuno Santarém received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Didi Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Didi Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazmija Stojković in the 63rd minute of the match. When Atlético de Caracas's Nazmija Stojković in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meia Ronda's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luiz de Lima in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zarando Calva saved Atlético de Caracas from getting behind. Zarando Calva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan Tavares in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Yaar O'Connell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Saturnino Erruki in the 70th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Atlético de Caracas's Gabirel Caceo. When Nuno Santarém fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético de Caracas's protests and gave Nuno Santarém a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Atlético de Caracas's Nuno Santarém got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Sílvio Luiz de Lima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meia Ronda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz de Lima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Didi Lima made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Nuno Santarém sent off a good shot on target. Nuno Santarém's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Didi Lima firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 94 minutes, Saturnino Erruki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meia Ronda and the Atlético de Caracas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saturnino Erruki hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Atlético de Caracas supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético de Caracas would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
