In the 14th minute of the match, Columbo Noya tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emanuele Iannone saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Noya in the 16th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Augusto Giacchetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregory Pegrum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Wiman. After some careless play in the Maci FC defense, Columbo Noya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emanuele Iannone. The Maci FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuele Iannone should have stopped the shot. Columbo Noya struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Emanuele Iannone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planetstaden IK. 34 minutes into the game, Columbo Noya recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emanuele Iannone. Columbo Noya showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Columbo Noya in the 38th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Karl Wiman took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Emanuele Iannone to make any attempt to save it. Planetstaden IK's Jörn Åman quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Edmondo Oroni, made in the 46th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 71st minute, Columbo Noya made a precise shot to the right of Emanuele Iannone. Maci FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Edmondo Oroni made in the 74th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Filippo Sisti immediately put the ball in play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Columbo Noya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planetstaden IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Columbo Noya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuele Iannone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
