Alfonso Iob didn't get a good kick on the ball. The SOUTH THUNDER fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edgard Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Emanuele Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emanuele Iannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Field in the 11th minute of play. Emanuele Iannone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Van Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Van Field in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Iannone saved Maci FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Field in the 25th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Augusto Procopio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Procopio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emanuele Iannone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edgard Quintan went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Godfredo Salomone hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano Carbonetti made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Carbonetti came free, but Desiderio Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Field in the 55th minute of play forced Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Van Field received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emanuele Iannone came out and tried to block the shot, but Van Field slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 56th minute. Desiderio Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amos Tullio, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 61st minute, Amos Tullio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maci FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. 64 minutes into the game, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuele Iannone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. After having played for 68 minutes, Edgard Quintan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SOUTH THUNDER's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Quintan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Van Field who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Emanuele Iannone when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfonso Iob kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Van Field succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-6. In the 77th minute, Van Field ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Iannone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Emanuele Iannone successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 88 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Procopio came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SOUTH THUNDER! The referee gave Maci FC a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Adriano Carbonetti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura. 2-7. SOUTH THUNDER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
