Justino Dabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 9th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes in the game, Edgard Quintan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 14th match minute, SOUTH THUNDER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germán Pezzella to maneuver through the defense. Dogelo's Kristóf Földes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SOUTH THUNDER. If Oliverios Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save SOUTH THUNDER from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Kristóf Földes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristóf Földes in the 29th minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliverios Marcilla blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Endura having to make a save. Oliverios Marcilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Desiderio Endura made a huge save. In the 35th minute Edgard Quintan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manúel Bento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oliverios Marcilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Endura read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 48th minute of the match Dogelo got a corner. SOUTH THUNDER's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristóf Földes ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kristóf Földes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura did a great save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kristóf Földes was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliverios Marcilla in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. If Oliverios Marcilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 53rd minute of play forced SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Paulo Viana hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla in the 72nd minute of play. Desiderio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Quintan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Manúel Bento made a huge save. Lico Catarinense was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Oliverios Marcilla struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Desiderio Endura didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dogelo. If Edgard Quintan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliverios Marcilla in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Oliverios Marcilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliverios Marcilla in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Dogelo were victorious despite being under pressure from SOUTH THUNDER for much of the match.
