After 3 played minutes Maci FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Tesone. Emanuele Iannone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Van Field, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience was convinced that Van Field's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Iannone was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on SOUTH THUNDER's corner Enzo Diaz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emanuele Iannone quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Van Field in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Iannone saved Maci FC from getting behind. Emanuele Iannone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Field's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 13th match minute, Maci FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Teodori to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Augusto Procopio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuele Iannone was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 18 minutes of play, Maci FC's Amos Tullio made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Desiderio Endura was left in no man's land by his defense there! Van Field received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Emanuele Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Maci FC got a freekick which was hit by Franco Genovesi. After 23 played minutes SOUTH THUNDER got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Quintan. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Carbonetti in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Maci FC's goalkeeper Emanuele Iannone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuele Iannone had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Van Field from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Van Field in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuele Iannone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Quintan came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Frank Teodori hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38th play minutes Van Field shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Emanuele Iannone and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Van Field in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuele Iannone saved Maci FC from getting behind. A hard shot 44 in the game by Van Field from a close distance when the talented Emanuele Iannone managed to make a qualified save. Maci FC's players were relieved. Germán Pezzella kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Carbonetti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emanuele Iannone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Field's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute, Augusto Procopio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Maci FC's Emanuele Iannone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Van Field in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Van Field's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuele Iannone was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Edgard Quintan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Emanuele Iannone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Carlo Tesone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emanuele Iannone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 75 minutes into the match, Maci FC's goal looked a bit too open when Van Field came free, but Emanuele Iannone reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuele Iannone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Field went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 89thth minute of the game Van Field who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maci FC's Emanuele Iannone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuele Iannone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Field in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maci FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Augusto Procopio was slow to take the kick. During this time SOUTH THUNDER's players had a chance to rest. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 9-1 when Van Field sped through Maci FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emanuele Iannone. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SOUTH THUNDER had played much better football throughout.
