Venancio Harriet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Clemente Savier made a huge save. 9 minutes into the game, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Ubarna Marcos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marinos Vourousis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s zone, Eloy Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Savier came out of the goal and Eloy Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club de la Serpiente's Marinos Vourousis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Marcos in the 16th minute of play. Marinos Vourousis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ubarna Marcos in the 24th minute of play. Eloy Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Clemente Savier made a huge save. Clemente Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clemente Shantala in the 27th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Marinos Vourousis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club de la Serpiente's Marinos Vourousis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Marcos in the 38th minute of play. When Ubarna Marcos came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ubarna Marcos couldn't finish the play. Ubarna Marcos took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marinos Vourousis. Marinos Vourousis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dé Santos was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ma Zheng Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Savier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Club de la Serpiente were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Clemente Shantala took the corner. 59 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Marinos Vourousis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ubarna Marcos. After some careless play in the Club de la Serpiente defense, Ubarna Marcos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marinos Vourousis. The Club de la Serpiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marinos Vourousis should have stopped the shot. ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣ made a substitution. Marcelo Salas replaced Ubarna Marcos. 67 minutes into the match, Club de la Serpiente's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Olivar came free, but Marinos Vourousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Nogueira in the 70th minute of play forced Club de la Serpiente's goalkeeper Marinos Vourousis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marinos Vourousis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristopher Damian went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Ma Zheng Yuan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marinos Vourousis. That made the score 0-6 after 77 minutes of play. Clemente Savier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dé Santos in the 81st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerônimo Paes during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ☣ⓇⓄⒸⓀⒺⓉ   -⃝ⓅⓄⓌⒺⓇ☣'s Jerônimo Paes got a free kick in the 89th minute. Eloy Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute Clemente Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Savier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marinos Vourousis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristopher Damian, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Marcelo Salas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marinos Vourousis, 1-7.
