An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Lopez in the 4th minute of play forced Tetes Titans's goalkeeper Mauricio Olayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, El Canalla de Chicago's Daron Davidson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Olayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingo Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingo Lopez in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauricio Olayo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Domingo Lopez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauricio Olayo having to make a save. Armando Leobardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Armando Leobardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cody Gentry took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mauricio Olayo. Tetes Titans's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Leon Breogan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Domingo Lopez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Domingo Lopez put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mauricio Olayo. In the 56th minute of the match, Uriel Arias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jude Vang was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Tetes Titans defense, Domingo Lopez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mauricio Olayo. The Tetes Titans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mauricio Olayo should have stopped the shot. El Canalla de Chicago's Rudolf Pendleton was substituted for Daron Davidson. Jude Vang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Egoi in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Domingo Lopez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauricio Olayo was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 72nd match minute, El Canalla de Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Knox to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Mauricio Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th match minute, Tetes Titans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Gotzon to maneuver through the defense. Tetes Titans's Mauricio Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Leobardo in the 80th minute of play. If Uriel Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of El Canalla de Chicago booed when Tetes Titans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robustiano Hustaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauricio Olayo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingo Lopez's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Canalla de Chicago fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tetes Titans had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
