A nice corner shot did that Mirza Başeskioğlu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Desiderio Endura quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Desiderio Endura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Wiman in the 13th minute of the match. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Wiman in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Planetstaden IK's goalkeeper Gregory Pegrum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Mastantuono. SOUTH THUNDER were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Planetstaden IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Augusto Procopio took the corner. The attack was good, but when Columbo Noya in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 31stth minute of the game Augusto Procopio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Columbo Noya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Wiman in the 35th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl Wiman in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Desiderio Endura saved SOUTH THUNDER from getting behind. Gregory Pegrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Van Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Planetstaden IK's Tony Nordström to fire away a dangerous shot which Desiderio Endura despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Karl Wiman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Desiderio Endura. After the first half Planetstaden IK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Van Field stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Columbo Noya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Endura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gregory Pegrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Van Field, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Procopio in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Planetstaden IK's Mirza Başeskioğlu got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Kinnman came free, but Desiderio Endura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grant Grant made in the 68th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Franco Mastantuono. When Augusto Procopio came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Procopio couldn't finish the play. Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Solari in the 71st minute of play. When Mirza Başeskioğlu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Planetstaden IK's protests and gave Mirza Başeskioğlu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st match minute, Planetstaden IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirza Başeskioğlu to maneuver through the defense. Desiderio Endura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Columbo Noya in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's goalkeeper Desiderio Endura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl Wiman. SOUTH THUNDER's Franco Mastantuono got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SOUTH THUNDER's Desiderio Endura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Columbo Noya in the 84th minute of play. Gregory Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Mastantuono, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Van Field in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Karl Wiman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chants of Planetstaden IK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SOUTH THUNDER had held the ball for most of the match.
