Horacio Jesus Carvallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Cañas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thalis Papazisis in the 9th minute of play. Danilo Zárate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Everardo Ado made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Ni Zhen Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Algarrobo's Everardo Ado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Algarrobo from getting a goal against them. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Armando Lamb in the 27th minute of play. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Ignacio Vera in the 30th minute of play. Diego Armando Lamb took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horacio Jesus Carvallo. Horacio Jesus Carvallo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 36th minute Ni Zhen Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Diego Armando Lamb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Algarrobo's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Papazisis came free, but Everardo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Algarrobo's Everardo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 45th minute of play. With a little luck, Algarrobo's Everardo Ado got control of the ball when Ni Zhen Feng tried to sneak it across the goal line. 48 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Marchetti was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Algarrobo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Baez FC the free kick. A collision led to Algarrobo getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Wilfredo Marchetti hit a great ball.

Algarrobo's Rafael Nadal was substituted for Diego Armando Lamb. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baez FC! Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Jimeno Carrera sent off a good shot on target. Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Cañas, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Zárate in the 78th minute of play forced Algarrobo's goalkeeper Everardo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Algarrobo's Everardo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thalis Papazisis in the 86th minute of play. Horacio Jesus Carvallo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Nadal sent off a good shot on target. The Algarrobo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Algarrobo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
