Horacio Jesus Carvallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xalvador Mac Kenney, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute Xalvador Mac Kenney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicodemo Recalde made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Ni Zhen Feng sent off a good shot on target. Horacio Jesus Carvallo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Vicente Soler's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. With his leg Nicodemo Recalde managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Baez FC's Ni Zhen Feng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Qi Qing hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Vicente Soler came free, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thalis Papazisis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Nicodemo Recalde made a huge save. A collision led to VILLANUEVA FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Xalvador Mac Kenney hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Papazisis got free with Nicodemo Recalde in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Blanco in the 34th minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Horacio Jesus Carvallo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Baez FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xacobo Barroso was slow to take the kick. During this time VILLANUEVA FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 37th minute of the match VILLANUEVA FC got a corner. Baez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xacobo Barroso ran over to the corner to take the kick. VILLANUEVA FC's Esteban José Norambuena was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Horacio Jesus Carvallo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, Thalis Papazisis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicodemo Recalde. VILLANUEVA FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thalis Papazisis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Marcel Blanco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ni Zhen Feng might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicodemo Recalde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ni Zhen Feng ran back to his position shaking his head. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by VILLANUEVA FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Ralondo was slow to take the kick. During this time Baez FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Baez FC's Ruperto Ralondo to fire away a dangerous shot which Nicodemo Recalde despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Papazisis in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodemo Recalde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank De Jong made in the 64th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by VILLANUEVA FC's Severo Anabalon. After some careless play in the VILLANUEVA FC defense, Ni Zhen Feng kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicodemo Recalde. The VILLANUEVA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicodemo Recalde should have stopped the shot. When Baez FC's Thalis Papazisis in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye VILLANUEVA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Baez FC's Horacio Jesus Carvallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xacobo Barroso in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Ralondo to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the match, VILLANUEVA FC's Xalvador Mac Kenney sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horacio Jesus Carvallo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicodemo Recalde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thalis Papazisis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ni Zhen Feng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicodemo Recalde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Ni Zhen Feng scored 3-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicodemo Recalde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thalis Papazisis in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Baez FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
