With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernán Torrejón in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rambo Ramírez saved Colo-Colo from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Colo-Colo's Marco-Antonio Etcheverry got a free kick in the 11th minute. When SiTomanBoy´s's Hernán Torrejón in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colo-Colo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 15th minute, Colo-Colo's Rubén Martínez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind James Novak. James Novak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19th match minute, Colo-Colo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chano Garrido to maneuver through the defense. Roland Brand, 20 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 24th minute, Pablo Solari fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 27th minute, Simón Babarovic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hernán Torrejón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rambo Ramírez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernán Torrejón in the 37th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Hernán Torrejón managed to get in a good position for a shot. SiTomanBoy´s's supporters rose to their feet, but Hernán Torrejón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rambo Ramírez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernán Torrejón to strike the kick off in the second half. James Novak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubén Martínez in the 52nd minute of play. Rambo Ramírez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hernán Torrejón in the 56th minute. The corner led SiTomanBoy´s's Toninho Guerreiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Rambo Ramírez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Rambo Ramírez got control of the ball when Toninho Guerreiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rambo Ramírez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Nord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colo-Colo's Rambo Ramírez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Colo-Colo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Colo-Colo's Rambo Ramírez got control of the ball when Toninho Guerreiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Colo-Colo's Ivo Basay was substituted for Rubén Martínez.
