In the 4th minute Angel Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Angel Martxel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ambrosio Dacio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 21st minute, Dariusz Adamski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Martxel in the 22nd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Angel Martxel. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Segurola y Habana's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abelardo Bernabel was slow to take the kick. During this time Centeno's players had a chance to rest. Centeno's Abelardo Bernabel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrian Eneko in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.
Segurola y Habana's Adrian Eneko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakan Kaan in the 51st minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Segurola y Habana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Eneko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Toro Halland's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Angel Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ambrosio Dacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Dacio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Segurola y Habana. When Sebastian Berriotxoa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segurola y Habana's protests and gave Sebastian Berriotxoa a yellow card for diving instead. Toro Halland might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Eneko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toro Halland ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Segurola y Habana's goal looked a bit too open when Toro Halland came free, but Adrian Eneko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 90 played minutes Segurola y Habana got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Semeno. In the 91st minute, Joãozinho Quartiero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Centeno's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
