Jens van Basten hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Soares came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when M. Agus Young got free with Mitchel Dijkstra in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 33rd minute David Wilmink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes in the game Alvaro Llorienzo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hernan Louis. M. Agus Young blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mitchel Dijkstra having to make a save. Mitchel Dijkstra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 43rd minute of play. Norberto Tino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when M. Agus Young made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Soares came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Tino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soares's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Mitchel Dijkstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from M. Agus Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Norberto Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Soares in the 64th minute of the match. M. Agus Young received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mitchel Dijkstra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Beremundo to maneuver through the defense. If Polo Quinteros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Llorienzo hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Polo Quinteros in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mitchel Dijkstra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Santa Lucia de Merlo booed when Fc Benefica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Gryshko didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Eduard Gryshko got a free kick in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polo Quinteros in the 87th minute of play forced Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Mitchel Dijkstra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes in the game, Leandro Soares fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Norberto Tino having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
