In the 4th minute, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Leandro Soares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubio Mor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute of the match Fc Benefica got a corner. Ornopata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Soares ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jens van Basten made a great header on Fc Benefica's corner, it was just that Ornopata's Rubio Mor managed to reach the ball for a save. Ornopata's Rubio Mor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Wilmink in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Karl-Michael Linberg threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fc Benefica's Jens van Basten quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 21 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubio Mor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mitchel Dijkstra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Loredo, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Leandro Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubio Mor having to make a save. Rubio Mor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Mitchel Dijkstra, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ornopata's Rubio Mor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Soares in the 34th minute of play. Joaquin Loredo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mitchel Dijkstra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Joaquin Loredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ornopata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ornopata's goalkeeper Rubio Mor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Ornopata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carcelén Parcero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leandro Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Rubio Mor made a huge save. Leandro Soares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rubio Mor came out and tried to block the shot, but Leandro Soares slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 51st minute of the game Karl-Michael Linberg made a throw-in which Joaquin Loredo played forward. After 53 played minutes Ornopata got a freekick which was hit by Carcelén Parcero. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Jens van Basten got a free kick in the 54th minute. Leandro Soares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rubio Mor having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Soares in the 58th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Rubio Mor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rubio Mor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Ornopata's Rubio Mor. Rubio Mor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fc Benefica's Denis Beremundo was substituted for Humberto Jonge. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Soares in the 74th minute of play forced Ornopata's goalkeeper Rubio Mor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fc Benefica's Mitchel Dijkstra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Fc Benefica from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Leandro Soares notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Ornopata's Rubio Mor. Rubio Mor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Leandro Soares came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fc Benefica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leandro Soares couldn't finish the play. Rubio Mor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Soares's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Ornopata's Karl-Michael Linberg got a free kick in the 90th minute. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. David Wilmink hit a great ball. Ornopata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
