In the 5thth minute of the game Mehat Kovaçi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Cougars FC got a corner. Murcia Promesas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Angel Morales ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Murcia Promesas's goalie and right to Inocencio Paublo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Murcia Promesas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 23 minutes into the match, Murcia Promesas's goalkeeper Jens Schrape had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehat Kovaçi. Jens Schrape showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehat Kovaçi, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fiori Guimarães during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fiori Guimarães hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Johansson in the 29th minute of play. Jens Schrape was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Mehat Kovaçi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mehat Kovaçi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehat Kovaçi to make the kick off. Mehat Kovaçi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mehat Kovaçi in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute Mehat Kovaçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens Schrape saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 58 minutes of play, Cougars FC's Mehat Kovaçi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Schrape was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehat Kovaçi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jens Schrape read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Jens Schrape didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mehat Kovaçi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Cougars FC made a substitution. Steffen Gimlinge replaced Mehat Kovaçi. Murcia Promesas's Tim Vereeken was substituted for Leon Huchro. In the 77thth minute of the game Steffen Gimlinge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Jannic De Vreese threw the ball into play from the sideline. Murcia Promesas's Bardo Cameno quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Miliano Sacristán might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoud de Pelsmakere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miliano Sacristán ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miliano Sacristán in the 84th minute of play forced Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cougars FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Morales in the 90th minute. Horia Păuceanu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Murcia Promesas's Jens Schrape played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cougars FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Murcia Promesas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
