The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zbigniew Glapiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Westelinx in the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mafia Koniaka's Pankracy Dombroski got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 13th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mafia Koniaka's Zbigniew Glapiak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Westelinx in the 14th minute of play. FC Ouagadougou National's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sergen Şahbender in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Sergen Şahbender almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mafia Koniaka's Zbigniew Glapiak did a great save. In the 20th minute William Westelinx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Glapiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jedrzej Kiszkiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Lisandro Iraunkor could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Rene Vereijt however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Westelinx in the 29th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Ouagadougou National's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Lisandro Iraunkor scored to the left of an out of position Rene Vereijt, making the score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazmi Tanberk in the 37th minute of play forced Mafia Koniaka's goalkeeper Zbigniew Glapiak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC Ouagadougou National's goal looked a bit too open when Radomil Dudkowski came free, but Rene Vereijt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jedrzej Kiszkiel to make the kick off. Rene Vereijt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Iraunkor in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Hamza Yavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Glapiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Vereijt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Wyrzykowski in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Jedrzej Kiszkiel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ouagadougou National fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FC Ouagadougou National made a substitution. Abdulla Baia replaced William Westelinx. Mafia Koniaka made a substitution. Wincenty Parajewski replaced Dobromir Prokowski. In the 79th minute Hamza Yavaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zbigniew Glapiak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Dombroski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. In the 83rd match minute, Mafia Koniaka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Dombroski to maneuver through the defense. Hamza Yavaş took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zbigniew Glapiak. Zbigniew Glapiak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rene Vereijt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Przemyslaw Gierasik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Glapiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdulla Baia, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The FC Ouagadougou National players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
