When Peter Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Blomkvist couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Enekoitz came free, but Epifanio Havier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier got control of the ball when Peter Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 14th match minute, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Blomkvist to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Severino Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Havier was a little too slow when Peter Blomkvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-0. Peter Blomkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Havier having to make a save. Peter Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Club A. Independiente from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier got control of the ball when Peter Blomkvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Peter Blomkvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Epifanio Havier, 2-0. After having played for 40 minutes, Peter Blomkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Blomkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Peter Blomkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Blomkvist in the 42nd minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Epifanio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peter Blomkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Epifanio Havier made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Peter Blomkvist sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Pacifico hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Joel Enekoitz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Epifanio Havier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥.
The throw-in from Aquilino Karlo in the 52nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu. Aquilino Karlo kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Epifanio Havier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Blomkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Peter Blomkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Joel Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Havier came out of the goal and Joel Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Joel Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Peter Blomkvist notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Epifanio Havier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute Peter Blomkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Havier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Peter Blomkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Havier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s William Lebigot was substituted for Joel Enekoitz. Peter Blomkvist hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Elvio Frances was substituted for Peter Blomkvist. In the 79th minute, Peter Blomkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Frances scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Epifanio Havier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elvio Frances in the 86th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Epifanio Havier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90thth minute of the game Elvio Frances who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club A. Independiente's Epifanio Havier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Elvio Frances put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Epifanio Havier. Epifanio Havier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Frances in the 95th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ had played much better football throughout.
