Breixo Bouzas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Fernando Selatse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Breixo Bouzas did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Fernando Selatse 21 minutes into the match. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Buinton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fc S.Zaharesti's Aleksander Eriksrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 27th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Eriksrud was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fc S.Zaharesti's Aleksander Eriksrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 33rd minute of play. In the 40th minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aleksander Eriksrud was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Buinton in the 44th minute of play. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when Cristian Buinton tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alvaro Raymond to strike the kick off in the second half. Gandalf Popescu made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Viorel Puric. The audience was convinced that Dinu Ivănescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleksander Eriksrud was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Emiliano Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Aleksander Eriksrud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 91 minutes into the match, Fc S.Zaharesti's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Ivănescu came free, but Aleksander Eriksrud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Fc S.Zaharesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Despidida AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Despidida AFC.
