Branislav Velchevski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nik Frisendal in the 25th minute of play. In the 25th minute of the match, Nik Frisendal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Branislav Velchevski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The throw-in from Arnoldo Cordero in the 34th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Randers A.F.C.'s Benjamin Vollmaris. 37 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Francis came free, but Nichlas Vesterdahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Everardo Cordarell hit a great ball. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Arnaldo Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Rostholm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Branislav Velchevski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

If Nik Frisendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Léo Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Randers A.F.C.'s Rodrigo Tome was substituted for Benjamin Vollmaris. Rene Rostholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Branislav Velchevski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Randers A.F.C.'s Rene Rostholm sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Branislav Velchevski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Bruno Steenbeck replaced Rene Rostholm. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Randers A.F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Everardo Cordarell was slow to take the kick. During this time ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Everardo Cordarell got away a dangerous shot. Branislav Velchevski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Randers A.F.C.. A collision led to Randers A.F.C. getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rodrigo Tome hit a great ball. Bonifacio Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Bruno Steenbeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Branislav Velchevski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Randers A.F.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
