The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Yu Cheng Jing who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C Barbarians's Gianluigi Donnarumma was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 played minutes Gonzales Chaves FC got a freekick which was hit by Yu Cheng Jing. After 8 played minutes Gonzales Chaves FC got a freekick which was hit by Radomil Ratulowski. F.C Barbarians's Alan Velasco got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. F.C Barbarians's Gianluigi Donnarumma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yu Cheng Jing in the 14th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Yu Cheng Jing made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. F.C Barbarians's Gianluigi Donnarumma tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Gonzales Chaves FC's Yu Cheng Jing in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gonzales Chaves FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluigi Donnarumma breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gianluigi Donnarumma didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Mannie went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marcelino Granados might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluigi Donnarumma. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Granados ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, F.C Barbarians's Siro Abaurre got a free kick in the 45th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Yu Cheng Jing managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gonzales Chaves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yu Cheng Jing was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Carlos Aguiar made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C Barbarians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Wieslaw Zieba was slow to take the kick. During this time Gonzales Chaves FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Wieslaw Zieba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but F.C Barbarians's Gianluigi Donnarumma did a great save. Yu Cheng Jing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Gianluigi Donnarumma made a huge save. In the 58th minute of the match, Yu Cheng Jing got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gianluigi Donnarumma was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Valério Hoffmann hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes F.C Barbarians got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Bibiano. 62 minutes into the match, F.C Barbarians's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wieslaw Zieba. Carlos Aguiar hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of Gonzales Chaves FC booed when F.C Barbarians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcelino Granados had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Carlos Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yu Cheng Jing's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Gianluigi Donnarumma skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gonzales Chaves FC's Bartolo Bero was substituted for Gustavo Mannie. In the 80th minute, Siro Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gianluigi Donnarumma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Bero in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, F.C Barbarians's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yu Cheng Jing fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Yu Cheng Jing who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Gianluigi Donnarumma when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in F.C Barbarians's zone, Uriel Terciero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluigi Donnarumma came out of the goal and Uriel Terciero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yu Cheng Jing's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluigi Donnarumma read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th play minute Yu Cheng Jing came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gianluigi Donnarumma. 0-3. In the 92nd minute, Bartolo Bero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gianluigi Donnarumma. The goal made the score 0-4. When the match was over Gonzales Chaves FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than F.C Barbarians throughout the match.
