With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Lamonica in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pankracy Glogowski saved Club Atlético Atlanta from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Davi Lamonica who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Anselmo Nevada was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dinamo Colorado the free kick. Davi Lamonica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Atlanta's Alfonso Goicoechea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fabrício Negri. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugur Chiriac in the 16th minute of play. Alfonso Goicoechea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Fabrício Negri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Lamonica in the 31st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pankracy Glogowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Alfonso Goicoechea notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri. Fabrício Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alfonso Goicoechea made the kick off in the second half. If Mugur Chiriac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Mugur Chiriac left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Nevada in the 66th minute of play. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the 87th minute Mugur Chiriac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pankracy Glogowski made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Rivaldo Dez sent off a good shot on target. Alfonso Goicoechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Atlanta walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
