Valdis Felbergs made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Niculae Ungureanu sent off a good shot on target. When Black horses's Tadeo Rainerio in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute, Niculae Ungureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdis Felbergs made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Henning Fink sent off a good shot on target. In the 22nd minute Cipriano Sauveur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andriy Lunin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes in the game, Cipriano Sauveur dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With his leg Valdis Felbergs managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Niculae Ungureanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Black horses from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saltuk Askeroğlu. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the game, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Saltuk Askeroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdis Felbergs made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Sauveur, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niculae Ungureanu got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cipriano Sauveur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Andriy Lunin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

60 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Michalsky came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ödön Szily recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Black horses's Andžs Redzobs was substituted for Balvis Kiberkalns. Black horses's Jakub Swierczok was substituted for Cipriano Sauveur. 70 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Henning Fink came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Steffen Michalsky to fire away a dangerous shot which Valdis Felbergs despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steffen Michalsky in the 75th minute of the match. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ödön Szily in the 76th minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after Black horses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Steffen Michalsky took the corner. Henning Fink kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ödön Szily in the 80th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saltuk Askeroğlu in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdis Felbergs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Valdis Felbergs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niculae Ungureanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute of the game Siegfried Danielzick made a throw-in which Nisar Burkart played forward. Andriy Lunin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jakub Swierczok showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 96 minute of play. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
