With an all-out effort, KS HANZA Goleniów's George Buturugã threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roland Gozdowski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 11th minute Ahmet Hamdi Ortan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Thurø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute Sulo Montaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Thurø saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Șerban Chihaia scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Buturugã, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sulo Montaña might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ferdinand Thurø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sulo Montaña ran back to his position shaking his head. KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 40th minute of play forced KS HANZA Goleniów's goalkeeper Ferdinand Thurø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Sulo Montaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Sulo Montaña notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø. Ferdinand Thurø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sulo Montaña to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Marut in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg George Buturugã saved LOI from getting behind. Ferdinand Thurø was a little too slow when Özgür Özbay got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 61st minute, LOI's Sulo Montaña dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Șerban Chihaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Buturugã was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Özgür Özbay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 70 minutes, Engkos Anhar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS HANZA Goleniów and the LOI players grew even worse after the yellow card. LOI's attentive Mehmet Akif Cerme managed to snatch the ball when Edmund Moryl made a throw-in in the 75th minute of the game. KS HANZA Goleniów's Ferdinand Thurø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 76th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sulo Montaña kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Thurø. That made the score 1-4 in the 78 minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özgür Özbay got free with Ferdinand Thurø in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdinand Thurø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 84th minute of play. LOI's Sulo Montaña was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 85th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kerimhan Cevher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ferdinand Thurø having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, KS HANZA Goleniów's goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Ferdinand Thurø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
