In the 3rd minute, Sulo Montaña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting a goal against them. Andriy Lunin made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Ahmet Hamdi Ortan sent off a good shot on target. Saltuk Askeroğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. George Buturugã tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Kaan Öztanır made a precise shot to the right of Andriy Lunin. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Niculae Ungureanu came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Andriy Lunin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Niculae Ungureanu hit a great ball. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. made a substitution. Chen Zhen replaced Steffen Michalsky. In the 21st minute, Niculae Ungureanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, LOI's Ahmet Hamdi Ortan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 27 minutes into the match, LOI's goal looked a bit too open when Saltuk Askeroğlu came free, but George Buturugã reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sulo Montaña in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andriy Lunin saved SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. from getting behind. Andriy Lunin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sulo Montaña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andriy Lunin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sulo Montaña in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Kevin Schade hit a great ball. George Buturugã took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saltuk Askeroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Eustaquio Brufau suffered a concussion after 43 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Akif Cerme during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mehmet Akif Cerme kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Niculae Ungureanu made the kick off in the second half. In the last second George Buturugã throw himself and got hold of the ball when Niculae Ungureanu in the 50thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 52nd minute SC Freiburg 1904 e.V. were awarded a corner. Chen Zhen went to the cornerflag to take it. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 53rd minute of the match. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özgür Özbay in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgür Özbay in the 62nd minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saltuk Askeroğlu got free with George Buturugã in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 65 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goal looked a bit too open when Özgür Özbay came free, but Andriy Lunin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Saltuk Askeroğlu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Buturugã was left in no man's land by his defense there! Andriy Lunin came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by LOI's Sulo Montaña. But to his dismay, Sulo Montaña quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sulo Montaña in the 80th minute of play forced SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s goalkeeper Andriy Lunin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sulo Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andriy Lunin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sulo Montaña, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s Andriy Lunin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sulo Montaña in the 83rd minute of play. Andriy Lunin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sulo Montaña in the 87th minute of the match. When Sulo Montaña came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the LOI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sulo Montaña couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 1904 e.V.'s zone, Sulo Montaña stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andriy Lunin came out of the goal and Sulo Montaña tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LOI fully deserved thier win.
