Despidida AFC were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Black horses's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emanuel Lucila took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Dinu Ivănescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valdis Felbergs quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Black horses's attentive Larry Houben managed to snatch the ball when Gabriel Silban made a throw-in in the 17th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 19th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Velasco came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emiliano Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Velasco in the 52nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cipriano Sauveur in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Selatse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pastor Tino kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Despidida AFC's Ancho Branca was substituted for Dinu Ivănescu. After 58 played minutes Despidida AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pastor Tino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 59th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Black horses's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Valdis Felbergs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond, in the 78th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdis Felbergs having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Raymond got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 84 played minutes Black horses got a freekick which was hit by Jakub Swierczok. When Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Despidida AFC fans' excitement grew in the 92nd match minute when Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Despidida AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
