In the 3rd minute, Chen Ao Fan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabrício Negri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 5th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 8th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabrício Negri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Kevin Keegan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabrício Negri was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. 10 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Hamrin came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin Keegan came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Negri came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin. But to his dismay, Kurt Hamrin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fabrício Negri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Knut Rudberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fabrício Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georg Norström in the 31st minute of the match. Fabrício Negri didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Georg Norström went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Egídio Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Nelson Pinho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Olov Wahlnäs. The goal made the score 1-3. In the 38th minute of the game Filip Brolin made a throw-in which Hjalmar Hägert played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Keegan in the 40th minute of play forced Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Kurt Hamrin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skövde AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kurt Hamrin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Skövde AIK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Ronald Narusson replaced Moisés de Azevedo. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kevin Keegan to strike the kick off in the second half. Chen Ao Fan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Fabrício Negri made a huge save. In the 53rd minute Skövde AIK were awarded a corner. Chen Ao Fan went to the cornerflag to take it. Chen Ao Fan made a great header on Skövde AIK's corner, it was just that Dinamo Colorado's Fabrício Negri managed to reach the ball for a save. 55 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Hamrin came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Negri was a little too slow when Kurt Hamrin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-4. Ronald Narusson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olov Wahlnäs having to interfere. Skövde AIK's Jerry Williams was substituted for Chen Ao Fan. A hard shot 69 in the game by Kevin Keegan from a close distance when the talented Fabrício Negri managed to make a qualified save. Dinamo Colorado's players were relieved. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skövde AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kevin Keegan in the 82nd minute. Clemente Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Skövde AIK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
