Cascade Park West's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lázaro Cuartio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Alfonso Goicoechea's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Dario Wilhelm skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute Allen Dalton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Glogowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amir Lee in the 18th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amir Lee took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Dario Wilhelm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfonso Goicoechea's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alfonso Goicoechea sped through Cascade Park West's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dario Wilhelm. With a little luck, Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm got control of the ball when Alfonso Goicoechea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Amir Lee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the game, Mugur Chiriac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Dario Wilhelm was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfonso Goicoechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Dario Wilhelm made a huge save. Dario Wilhelm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugur Chiriac, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Jamar Orlinsky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pankracy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pankracy Glogowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldo Renteria went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. 40 minutes into the game, Mugur Chiriac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Wilhelm. Mugur Chiriac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. Amir Lee fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldo Renteria in the 55th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Benigno Abreu came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cascade Park West's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Chwalkiewicz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alfonso Goicoechea made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm managed to reach the ball for a save. Pankracy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamar Orlinsky in the 92nd minute of play.
