The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 감 in the 5th minute of play. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, 김 감 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the game, Joakim Kämpe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fernando Selatse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th minute of the match, Emiliano Velasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Valdis Felbergs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With his leg Valdis Felbergs managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Despidida AFC's Emiliano Velasco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valdis Felbergs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. Valdis Felbergs made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 22nd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Black horses's goalkeeper Valdis Felbergs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Velasco. After having played for 25 minutes, Cipriano Sauveur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black horses's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Sauveur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Velasco in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Joakim Kämpe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emiliano Velasco got free with Valdis Felbergs in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th match minute, Despidida AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Corleone to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cipriano Sauveur made the kick off in the second half. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Despidida AFC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dinu Ivănescu in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdis Felbergs saved Black horses from getting behind. Valdis Felbergs came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu. But to his dismay, Dinu Ivănescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Despidida AFC's Alvaro Raymond was substituted for Emiliano Velasco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano Sauveur in the 74th minute of play forced Despidida AFC's goalkeeper Fernando Selatse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Black horses's Valdis Felbergs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 77th minute of play. Valdis Felbergs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 88th minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdis Felbergs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Atso Joenväärä fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 91 minutes into the game, Kristiāns Princāns threw the ball into play from the sideline. Despidida AFC's Kajetan Gdowik quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alvaro Raymond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdis Felbergs having to interfere. The Despidida AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black horses's performance. The match ended with a win for Black horses.
