An unexpectedly hard shot by Wout Weghorst in the 22nd minute of play forced Cyber Attack's goalkeeper Bruno Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Käcker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sacit Budak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruno Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wout Weghorst, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 44th match minute, Cyber Attack was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Michael Karlberg to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wout Weghorst made a kick off. If Wout Weghorst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Ertuğrul Gazi took the corner. The corner ended in Ertuğrul Gazi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cyber Attack's Bruno Nunes did a great save.
