Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristiano Correia kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Raebert. When Rolando Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Club Atlético Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rolando Lopez couldn't finish the play. Alan Varela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ioan Voicu made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Raphael during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute Alan Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Voicu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Paulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Correia went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Club Atlético Temperley booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Gau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 22nd minute of play forced Defensores de Lombroso's goalkeeper Denis Paulin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Alan Varela kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ioan Voicu. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play. Ioan Voicu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Varela went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute of the match, Uriel Ferrer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ioan Voicu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joel Pitin hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Denis Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Correia in the 37th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Ungbo during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Varela came free, but Ioan Voicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristiano Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Varela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ioan Voicu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Esdras in the 56th minute of play. Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Ferrer in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atlético Temperley getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Joel Pitin hit a great ball. Ioan Voicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Esdras in the 63rd minute of the match. Cristiano Correia made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 65thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Denis Paulin would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Club Atlético Temperley's Ioan Voicu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Varela in the 68th minute of play. Ioan Voicu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alan Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Alan Varela's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ioan Voicu was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Victor Dalton replaced Federico Pirro. In the 78th minute of the match Defensores de Lombroso got a corner. Club Atlético Temperley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godfredo Gau ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Godfredo Gau got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ioan Voicu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valentín Barco hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Ferrer in the 84th minute of play forced Club Atlético Temperley's goalkeeper Ioan Voicu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alan Varela in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Voicu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Godfredo Gau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Ubaldo Gelacio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
