Güray Orcan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Vissenaeken in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th play minute Jonas Hautot came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Vítor Baia. 0-2. Brugge United's Waud Huijbrechts was substituted for Jaspar Van Den Broeck. A sloppy throw-in by Dries Philipsen in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by La mano de D10S's Qiu Song. After 61 minutes of play, Brugge United's Guido Vissenaeken made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brugge United reached it. 77 minutes into the match, Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pierre Malet. The attack was good, but when Pierre Malet in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rómeó Lukaku got free with Vítor Baia in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesc Tamari in the 91st minute of play forced Brugge United's goalkeeper Vítor Baia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
