Zhang Hao Qing made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Wu Qi sent off a good shot on target. Di Le Jun might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Di Cola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Di Le Jun ran back to his position shaking his head. 38 minutes into the match, Samurai's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Vince Di Cola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vince Di Cola read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wu Qi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taltum FC's attentive He Sang Jun managed to snatch the ball when Wolffram Lobo made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vince Di Cola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wu Qi in the 66th minute of the match. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the players looked a little tired when it was time for the first half of the overtime. It was Taltum FC's Obregón Pardemanos that got to make the kick off. Esbjörn Hultstrand received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zhang Hao Qing came out and tried to block the shot, but Esbjörn Hultstrand slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 98th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Taltum FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Samurai.
