An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Morientes in the 32nd minute of play forced Aioros FC's goalkeeper Beat Vid to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Fernando Morientes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aioros FC's Beat Vid played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabian Czeszejko in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Olimpia HSB's goalkeeper Tolek Kiszkiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bento Chandeiro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 38th minute of the game. One of Aioros FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Olimpia HSB:s goal. Aioros FC:s Beat Vid showed great skill when he stopped Fabian Czeszejko:s penalty. Fabian Czeszejko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beat Vid having to interfere. Beat Vid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabian Czeszejko in the 43rd minute of play.

Fabian Czeszejko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. When the match was over Olimpia HSB could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aioros FC throughout the match.
