Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Alexsandro Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Lúcio da Silveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Escobar in the 10th minute of the match. If Ritvaldis Rau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Richie Ason had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Eliazar. Juventudes Libertárias's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Richie Ason was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Tomasini in the 30th minute of play forced Juventudes Libertárias's goalkeeper Mauro Eliazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilson Meirelles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ruy Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. The ALIANZA 1901 fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ruy Berger made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Yu Ying Yang sent off a good shot on target. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Agostinho Almeida made a kick off. Alfredo Tomasini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Eliazar came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Tomasini slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 57th minute. Ruy Berger came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Juventudes Libertárias's Gilson Meirelles. But to his dismay, Gilson Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Juventudes Libertárias's Mauro Eliazar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Juventudes Libertárias from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ritvaldis Rau in the 67th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Tomasini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Mauro Eliazar made a huge save. Mauro Eliazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richie Ason, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Tomasini came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Richie Ason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. 88 minutes into the match, Juventudes Libertárias's goal looked a bit too open when Richie Ason came free, but Mauro Eliazar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 minutes, Márcio Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juventudes Libertárias and the ALIANZA 1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Márcio Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, ALIANZA 1901's Richie Ason dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ALIANZA 1901 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
