In the 38thth minute of the game Paio York who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Downchester City's Fumo Canuto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Paio York came free, but Fumo Canuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose Heredia to make the kick off. Wu Chao Liang kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beila Marcilla got free with David Loi in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 90th minute Lionel 柯景克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fumo Canuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Daniel Tschida notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Downchester City's Fumo Canuto. Fumo Canuto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Downchester City's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
