Sven-Edvin Jansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Franc Armani made a huge save. Santiago Simon might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nery Pumpido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Simon ran back to his position shaking his head. GuateFortín's Nery Pumpido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Simon in the 11th minute of play. GuateFortín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Alvarenga in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as GuateFortín's Sven-Edvin Jansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franc Armani. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Jansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Invisible's Franc Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angel Alvarenga hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute Zico Zellier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franc Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on GuateFortín's corner Angel Alvarenga fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franc Armani quite easily take care of the ball. Invisible's Franc Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Alvarenga in the 31st minute of play. Sven-Edvin Jansson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Franc Armani firmly grabbed it by the left post. Invisible's Franc Armani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Invisible from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santiago Simon was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of GuateFortín booed when Invisible was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Santiago Simon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th minute, Invisible's Santiago Simon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nery Pumpido. Nery Pumpido yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 60th minute, Zico Zellier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal.
