The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Onur Kaya in the 4th minute of play forced Muget's goalkeeper Isac Gligor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes in the game Lino Quexal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Florin Stancu. The audience was convinced that Diego Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Gligor was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 23rd match minute, Muget was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Quexal to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Isaia came free, but Wiliam Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Isaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florin Stancu in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wiliam Simão saved Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ from getting behind. Diego Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Gligor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diego Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Souza got free with Isac Gligor in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Muget booed when Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Griguță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wiliam Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Strungă in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wiliam Simão made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Alex Isaia sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Wiliam Simão got control of the ball when Alex Isaia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walery Kuszczak kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Diego Souza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Gligor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Wiliam Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Isaia in the 67th minute of the match. Nae Strungă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wiliam Simão having to make a save. But to his dismay, Alex Isaia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Silas de Brito was substituted for Oier Lopez de Toro. Muget's Isac Gligor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anıl Şahan in the 90th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Juan Aleso managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 94th minute, Muget's Alex Isaia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.

The Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Muget's performance. The match ended with a win for Muget.
