Guter Tobia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Sixto Fraco made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Nàstic de Tarragona's Olívio Negri got a free kick in the 13th minute. Guter Tobia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute of the game Raimundo Padro made a throw-in which Guter Tobia played forward. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Olívio Negri hit a great ball. Guter Tobia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixto Fraco came out and tried to block the shot, but Guter Tobia slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 36th minute. Marcial Bakar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chico Vidales, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 42nd minute Chico Vidales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Bakar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sixto Fraco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guter Tobia in the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Chico Vidales made a kick off. Nàstic de Tarragona's Sixto Fraco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guter Tobia in the 65th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Aves Negras had played much better football throughout.
