Mikolaj Jerzyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xiao Zhen Yun in the 6th minute of the match. Xiao Zhen Yun might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mikolaj Jerzyk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. H4K.BR made a substitution. Tarcisio Severo replaced Ovidiu Goanță. H4K.BR's Reynaldo Travassos was substituted for Ahmet Ali Yücesan. Newcastle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xiao Zhen Yun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Reynaldo Travassos came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the H4K.BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Travassos couldn't finish the play.
Newcastle United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
