CAN ERZURUM's Rolando Betadur quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 27 played minutes Kind of Blue got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Käller. Santiago Aureo made in the 29th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kind of Blue's Epifanio Aznar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 34th minute of play forced Kind of Blue's goalkeeper Wilhelm Galle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Sebastian Käller's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joar Scheie was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Käller was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastian Käller in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joar Scheie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 58 played minutes CAN ERZURUM got a freekick which was hit by Javier Zanetti. Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Kind of Blue's Sebastian Käller in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAN ERZURUM's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Kind of Blue booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pan Wei Quan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pan Wei Quan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CAN ERZURUM's Pan Wei Quan got a free kick in the 68th minute. Joar Scheie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Käller in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Käller in the 71st minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Käller might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Scheie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Käller ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Kind of Blue's Wilhelm Galle got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Sebastian Käller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kind of Blue's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Käller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Scheie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CAN ERZURUM's Arda Turan was substituted for Pan Wei Quan. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Okanalp Doğu replaced Javier Zanetti. Kind of Blue's Horea Boian was substituted for Anastasios Pallini. After a defensive mix-up in CAN ERZURUM's zone, Sebastian Käller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joar Scheie came out of the goal and Sebastian Käller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute Sebastian Käller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kind of Blue fully deserved thier win.
