But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evert Holm couldn't finish the play. Viktor Petrus might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elano Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Viktor Petrus ran back to his position shaking his head. 17 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's Viktor Petrus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elano Prestes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Black-White MH's attentive Cheng Chuan Yi managed to snatch the ball when Benito Cala made a throw-in in the 29th minute of the game. Black-White MH's Sigvard Åkesson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teo Remigio, made in the 35th minute of the game. After 37 played minutes Monte Hermoso Beach got a freekick which was hit by Benito Cala. After 39 played minutes Black-White MH got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Arif Savgat. In the 42nd minute Monte Hermoso Beach were awarded a corner. Viktor Petrus went to the cornerflag to take it. Monte Hermoso Beach's attentive Evert Holm managed to snatch the ball when Ahmet Arif Savgat made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Montrel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Black-White MH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheng Chuan Yi to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, Severino Di Giovanni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Arendarski. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Di Giovanni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Black-White MH's Elano Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Black-White MH from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd match minute, Black-White MH was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riho Põldmaa to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the game, Black-White MH's Severino Di Giovanni nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emil Arendarski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Black-White MH made a substitution. Süreyya Başar replaced Chad Kaplan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Montrel in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elano Prestes saved Black-White MH from getting behind. Severino Di Giovanni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Arendarski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Severino Di Giovanni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Arendarski having to make a save. Monte Hermoso Beach's Emil Arendarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Di Giovanni in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Di Giovanni in the 88th minute of play forced Monte Hermoso Beach's goalkeeper Emil Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Severino Di Giovanni notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Monte Hermoso Beach's Emil Arendarski.
