A collision led to Bozkurt getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Emmet McAaron hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Monte Hermoso Beach's Evert Holm got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Ferdi Kadıoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Arendarski. Monte Hermoso Beach's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ferdi Kadıoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kai Havertz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Arendarski having to make a save. Emil Arendarski made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Kai Havertz sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Kai Havertz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bozkurt's supporters rose to their feet, but Kai Havertz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Arendarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Monte Hermoso Beach made a substitution. Hector Montrel replaced Aage Hill. The throw-in from Tomasz Laskowski in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Monte Hermoso Beach's Mathis Arlot. With an all-out effort, Monte Hermoso Beach's Arda Göksel Yalman threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Siro Suarez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute Albin Abrahamsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bozkurt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Monte Hermoso Beach had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
