The audience thought a goal was coming when Aage Hill got free with Şemsettin Tuyuğ in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aage Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aage Hill. Monte Hermoso Beach's Hector Montrel was substituted for Aage Hill. Monte Hermoso Beach's Feridun Eryiğit quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hami Şahistan, made in the 42nd minute of the game. 45 minutes into the match, Hector Montrel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Şemsettin Tuyuğ, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Monte Hermoso Beach's Siro Suarez was substituted for Fulgencio Pudes. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hector Montrel to strike the kick off in the second half. If Refugio Pagan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 56 minutes into the match, Monte Hermoso Beach's goal looked a bit too open when Refugio Pagan came free, but Zachariasz Chmielecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hami Şahistan made in the 60th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Refugio Pagan. Zachariasz Chmielecki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Refugio Pagan in the 65th minute. Refugio Pagan's late challenge caught a Monte Hermoso Beach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Refugio Pagan helped the player get up and apologised. KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Montrel in the 91st minute of play. In the 98th minute, Refugio Pagan made a precise shot to the right of Zachariasz Chmielecki. Monte Hermoso Beach's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. KOCAELİSPOR walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
