Şemsettin Tuyuğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 26th minute of play forced KOCAELİSPOR's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tuyuğ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şemsettin Tuyuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 29th minute of play. KOCAELİSPOR's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pan Wei Quan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CAN ERZURUM's Pan Wei Quan to fire away a dangerous shot which Şemsettin Tuyuğ despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Vestlund notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of KOCAELİSPOR's Şemsettin Tuyuğ.
