After having played for 32 minutes, Leocadio Hebia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. THE CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leocadio Hebia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zhelyo Haynadzhiev hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Sidney Motta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leocadio Hebia in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berenguer Anda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zhelyo Haynadzhiev hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Berenguer Anda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 64 minutes, Rogério da Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imbituba - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério da Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 69 minutes THE CLUB's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pedro Luís Fonseca who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Rogério da Silva managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. THE CLUB's Guo Ling Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Pimenta in the 75th minute of play. Válbson Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 80 minutes, Sidney Motta successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 83rd match minute, Imbituba - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Gaspard to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Válbson Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guo Ling Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, THE CLUB's Alexey Keresteliev got a free kick in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the THE CLUB players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Imbituba - FSCMZ.
