Ashley Haigh kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Venezuela getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Iratzeder Melendo hit a great ball. Azubeli Gimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azubeli Gimilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Longley in the 12th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, U21 Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Longley came free, but Azubeli Gimilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of U21 Venezuela booed when U21 Andorra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Scott Bradbury didn't get a good kick on the ball. Azubeli Gimilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Sainz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th match minute, U21 Andorra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scott Bradbury to maneuver through the defense. After 46 played minutes U21 Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Papo Fortea. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

U21 Andorra made a substitution. Eddy Lydiate replaced Charles Greenwood. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Sainz, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Papo Fortea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Orchard having to interfere. U21 Andorra's Casey Orchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Papo Fortea in the 64th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Russ Griggs made a precise shot to the right of Azubeli Gimilio. U21 Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Casey Orchard came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Venezuela's Papo Fortea. But to his dismay, Papo Fortea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Azubeli Gimilio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Scott Bradbury, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Azubeli Gimilio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adam Longley showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 87 minute of play. Carlos Sainz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azubeli Gimilio having to interfere. After 94 played minutes U21 Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Montrel Loyas. After 97 minutes, Adam Longley made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. U21 Venezuela's Azubeli Gimilio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U21 Andorra eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
